This September, HÖOK is organizing a NATIONAL STUDENT “REFERENDUM”, where you can share your opinion about higher education. Vote on the issues that matter most to you, and help shape the future of Hungarian higher education!

The initiative, called “ Az egyetem ilyen:” (“This is what university is like”), was launched in the spring, when HÖOK visited nearly twenty institutions and personally collected the most important issues raised by students during forums. Over the summer, weekly surveys examined these topics in greater depth, and finally twelve key issues were added to the referendum list. These include scholarships, housing, employment, mental well-being and physical health, study administration, the quality of education, digital learning materials, research opportunities, community life, institutional autonomy, and the labor market value of a degree.
Now it’s your turn to decide which challenges you consider the most pressing.
